I wanted to start this discussion for all applicants of the ABSN Summer 2018 cohorts at Samuel Merritt University. Please feel free to share your thoughts so we can support each other!

Oh and last year I heard on 2/24, and I think I was the first day of notifications! People kept hearing for at least a week or two after that. Hope you guys don't have to wait that long this year!!

Oh one more tip it goes to your junk folder if you use gmail! So keep checking that. I didn't even know i had gotten in til hours afterwards because it was sitting in my junk mail.

Omg!!! They are notifying early this year! And don't worry- they definitely do move through the waitlist so all hope is not lost!

They are early this year! I am waitlisted for Oakland Summer 2018 cohort. I feel relieved to know where I stand and hopeful to be admitted. Yes, I heard that they move through the waitlist so I've got my fingers crossed. :)

Hi JT417! I'm sorry it wasn't a full acceptance, but as everyone is saying they move through it fast, so you still have a great chance! good luck...im still waiting to hear back as well :(

hi all! I applied for the San Mateo ABSN Summer 2018 cohort. I haven't applied to many schools, but SMU is my top choice. I was accepted to an ABSN program in Kentucky, but I really do not want to move there haha, but if no other schools accept me, I might have to. I also applied to USF and was waitlisted, but ultimately didn't pan out. This is my ultimate career/life goal, so I am hoping SMU will deliver some good news soon :) *fingers and toes crossed for all of us*

I believe that SMU notifies those that are waitlisted first before they send out acceptance and then rejections notices.

I just got myself convienced to not even worry about things for another few weeks then I get on here today and see some emails have already been sent out! Well it looks like it is back to checking my email constantly again. í ½í¸¬
