Just spoke with an admissions counselor, she said grades are only factored into GPA if they are completed before the application deadline. She said we could either send our in progress grades to nursing cas now or if admitted send them to SMU. it doesnt matter either way.

For those of you who have received preliminary review emails, what does your status read as? Mine is still saying "verified."

I believe mine says verified too. Does anyone know what the next phase is for the apps? I knows there’s 3

Verified I believe means that NursingCAS has verified your transcripts are all in and that you entered them correctly (if you entered them manually).

Wow! There are 3?? From previous year's threads, it doesn't seem like they send out any more communications after the pre-lim one... ahhh kind of nervous! Really want to to go to this school!!

Do you know what date you received your pre lim email? Was it around the same time that the first poster received his? I believe he said he got the e-mail on Aug 18.. I'm trying to figure out if they had been sending those emails even earlier than that?

Did your email state specifically that it was for the Sac location? Mine didn't mention location just that they received it - so curious!

Hi Califlower234, no it did not say for sac, just that I passed the preliminary review, and they have all of the required documents from me and there is nothing left for me to do....except wait! ahhhhhh

Ohh mine didn't say the required documents part. I thought it was the same e-mail for everyone, but I guess not?

Hi starter12345! What happens after the preliminary review? There 2 more steps right? Heard from a counselor it’s a 3 step process.
