I didn't see a thread for the Samuel Merritt University ABSN Spring 2014, and decided to get one going. Not much to talk about now, applications are in, just wanted to if anyone heard back yet from the school or when we can expect to hear from them. Good Luck everyone!

I can't remember which GPA SMU is most interested in, or which classes they tally it from.

Everyone should definitely check junk mail, mine was sorted into the promotions tab on my gmail where all of the Old Navy and Groupon emails go. :)

Jenna7613- I made Sacramento my first choice and San Mateo, my second.

and I emailed and I got a reply saying that my file has been reviewed in Sac and that decisions will be out by October 1.

-------------- has been sending out the emails. I have received two thus far, and I'm sitting here biting my nails. My heart jumps out of my chest when I see her name. I will be checking this post everyday! Several times/day as the deadline gets closer. San Mateo Chapter will be notified 9/11.

Who? Does her name start with an L? are you applying for sacramento or san mateo? she hasnt been answering me.

Yes, the admissions counselor is -------------- and she is great! Just remember right now is a REALLY busy time for her. She not only does ABSN but ELMSN and deals with current students/activities. Believe me, I know it's hard to wait for an email but do give it some time. Just send her an email or leave a VM and she will return your call as soon as she can.

Good luck new applicants! Get ready for the most stressful and exciting adventure. If you are placed on the wait list, don't get discouraged...they admitted students up to #12 this year.
