I didn't see a thread for the Samuel Merritt University ABSN Spring 2014, and decided to get one going. Not much to talk about now, applications are in, just wanted to if anyone heard back yet from the school or when we can expect to hear from them. Good Luck everyone!

When did you hear that your application had been forwarded to faculty for review? I applied for Sac ABSN Spring 2014 also.

I didn't get an e-mail that said it had been forwarded to faculty for review. I'm oping that's not a bad sign. Are you on the wait list for a different term as well? Would you mind sharing your stats?

I don't have my exact stats with me but these are close:

Pre-requisite GPA: 3.6

Science GPA: 3.5

Last 60: 3.4

TEAS: 89.7%

I am in waitlist for Nov but chances are very low that I would get in because everyone who is accepted have paid their deposit. I am number 10 on the waitlist.

My gpa is around yours, but my TEAS score are lower than your. It was 77%. I am very scared just hope I would get in. When did you apply.

I turned my application in on July 1. What about you? This is my first time applying. There seems to be a lot less people on these threads than there were in previous years...I'm hoping it's because fewer people applied! Wishful thinking, I'm sure

Yes I agree. I also turned my application in on July 1. I really hope there are alot less people for this cohort. Good luck and hope for the best.

Hi Everyone! I too have applied for Sac Spring entry. I have not received an email notifying me of further progress on my application. And how did you find out already that you are on the waitlist? I understood we would not be notified until sept/oct?

My first choice is Sac as well and I didn't hear anything from SMU either... but I saw from my bank account that my application fee check was processed so maybe that's a good sign?

Also, is there an interview process? Or do we just get an email with their decision?

I got an e-mail earlier this week saying my application was found to be complete and was being passed on for further review. I do not believe that you have to interview for the absn program. Since San Mateo applicants are being told they will hear by sept. 11, I'm hoping us Sac applicants will hear around then too!

hmm...hopefully my email will be coming soon. and yes! no interview! I had an interview a few weeks earlier for an ABSN program and I was a wreck.

Hi I was wondering if your last name started with a letter towards the beginning of the alphabet? I haven't gotten confirmation on my application being complete yet?
