I didn't see a thread for the Samuel Merritt University ABSN Spring 2014, and decided to get one going. Not much to talk about now, applications are in, just wanted to if anyone heard back yet from the school or when we can expect to hear from them. Good Luck everyone!

I got an e-mail earlier this week saying my application was found to be complete and was being passed on for further review. I do not believe that you have to interview for the absn program. Since San Mateo applicants are being told they will hear by sept. 11, I'm hoping us Sac applicants will hear around then too!

Hi I was wondering if your last name started with a letter towards the beginning of the alphabet? I haven't gotten confirmation on my application being complete yet?

Okay so should i be freaking out? my last name starts with a Y, but i haven't heard anything at all. Im so worried! Are you applying to Sac or San mateo?

My last name starts with an M, I also received the email that my app was complete and being forwarded early last week . Applying for Sac.

I am just trying to rationalize why I haven't received anything, but i guess we should relax a little because technically it isn't the end of the month yet, but i am freaking out as well. Maybe they have alot of applicants? That doesnt make me feel better at all lol. ughhhhhhh

Have you checked your junk mail? from reading threads from previous years it seems that applicants are notified of things at different times. I wouldn't worry too much!

Thats true, that makes me feel a bit better. I am in progress of receiving my Bachelors degree this semester and I didn't include a letter from my registrar stating i will be graduating and I am afraid they will disqualify my application because of it. It wasn't on the check list so it completely slipped my mind. Do you think they would notify people if their app is incomplete? ahhhhh

If I were you, I would jsut call and ask. That way, if you do need a letter, you can take care of it right away. Did you apply to SM or Sac?

Everytime I call the admissions counselor its a busy dial tone, maybe she took it off so people wouldn't bug her? I am applying to SAC. I emailed her twice and no response.

I called the main campus and I was told that for sac applicants we should receive an email this week, but the way the admissions person sounded, she made it seem like they haven't fowarded any documents to faculty. I guess we will see!
