  1. I did the same thing. I used UWORLD and Kaplan Qbanks and I passed with 75 questions.
  2. Hi I would recommend UWORLD. English is not my first language, and I am poor test taker. I just found out that I passed. I mainly used UWORLD and kaplan Qbank. UWORLD is not that expensive compare to other study materials. They have great explanation and picture. I think it is because of UWORLD that I passed my test. Again I would highly recommend. I agree with you that number of SATA doesn't mean anything because I only had 6-7 but alot of pharm and maternity. I have study notes that I can email you if you send me an email.
  3. No they only work on work during the week.
  4. And most of my friends got their results in few days but I know few my classmates and it took over 3 weeks so it varies.
  5. Yes I was checking every single day many many time...and after 4 weeks I got my results :)
  6. No in CA it can take up to 4 weeks to get your results on BRN or letter in mail and today it completed 4 weeks and got my result.
  7. Hello everyone, This post is going to be a long one. I would to like to talk about myself little bit. I graduated from Accelerated program in May 2015. During school, I most got As AND Bs. I was not a smart student but I had to study very hard. I kinda new that I had test anxitey but never did anything for it. I did horrible in the HESI. Once I graduated, I knew that I had to study hard and study content in order to pass this exam. It took 3 months to get my ATT (OMG!!!!) I took one week off after I graduated...went shopping, did alot of fun study..you need a break before you can study again. I bought the Hurst review online course. I started listening to those videos....I must say that they are boring...but you just have to do it...before I did the questions, I bought the kaplan Q-bank...I started doing 75-100 questions a day. It took forever to finish the Q-bank because I would write down the information that I didn't know or I missed. I came to this website often looking for tips and advice and someone mentioned UWORLD. OMG...it really changed my study plan. I fell in love with this prep. I stopped the Hurst and Kaplan and started doing UWORLD questions. I did all the questions from UWORLD. I would do only 75 questions a day because their explains are awesome and it would take forever to go through them. Sometimes I went back and reviewed again. Once I was done with the UWORLD, I went back and finished the Kaplan Q-bank. I did do three tests from the HURST review. I didn't have enough time to finish all six. Some other things I used during my preparation were NCLEX mastery app. I used that during my workout, while getting waiting for anything...basically anytime I had any free time...I did questions. Finally I found the 32 pages study guide found on net. I think everyone must read that before the exam...it has some important information. I didn't had enough time to go through twice. I remember there were few questions in the nclex that were from that study guide.. I have developed some study tips/guide on pharm. I was doing fine till a day before the exam. I was so nervous thinking about if I fail or I am not ready. I didn't sleep well...I don't even remember getting more than two hours sleep and my exam was at 8am. I was very nervous because this was do or die thing for me....I needed to pass this exam really bad. One more IMPORTANT thing: DON'T THINK NEGATIVE WHILE PREPARING FOR THIS EXAM...I kept telling myself that I am going pass this and one day I am going to make a post. I think I studied a full month six days a week atleast 6-7 hours. When I started my test...first questions was easy. I was like okay I think I might be ok. Then alot of maternity questions and I knew that it was my weak area....BUT remember guys SAFETY IS THE KEY...be a safe nurse. I got alot of pharm questions and many I didn't know....I was so scared. I think after 40 questions my head started to hurt...I decided to take a break. I went to bathroom and prayed. I was one hour and thirty mins and I was one 60 questions. I couldn't think because lack of sleep and took another break and drink water and went back. When I was at question 70, I started getting nervous thinking is it going to shutoff at 75 or not. I started paying attention to my last few questions. At 75 computer turned blue...I was like oh **********what happened. I think I failed. I was in big shocked because I didn't get that my SATA. I had 5-7 SATA, alot of piority questions, alot of meds, and maternity. When I came home, I knew that I fail because I started searching the answers and there were few questions that I missed. I waited a week before calling the BRN. I thought my results would be in with a week but nope...so I decided to do PVT. I entered the right information and right card, and I got good pop-up. Since I live in CA, we don't have quick results. After 4 long weeks, I found out today that I passed. I want to help anyone who is struggling or need help. Please feel free to email me...I will send my study tips or notes. TIPS: Believe in yourself that you can do it. Feed your mind positive thoughts.
