  1. @luvis4kips Not yet. I will be taking it before the year ends. Hopefully, I'll pass this time. Thank you so much for the encouragement! I really appreciate it!
  2. Thank you for the suggestion!
  3. Thank you so much! You don't know how this "cheer up messages" make me feel! Thank you thank you! I appreciate it so much!
  4. You mean I should do TRIAGE? "Who will die first" was in my mind the whole time I was answering the questions because that's the "tip" that the other nclex passer wrote on the other threads so thats what I put in mind.
  5. I will, this time! Hehehe. Thank you!
  6. Hi! Thank you for the suggestion. I looked at the UWorld website and I will be getting the 1 month access. Thaaank you! I appreciate it so much! How many pharm questions did you get? Oh I hate pharm!
  7. I am planning on buying the Kaplan strategies book tomorrow in addition to my resources. I don't want to get the course because I believe its too much and I only have a month and a half to study because I am taking it in 45 days and the course is 3 months I think. I didn't study in my local board back in my hometown because I was pretty confident and I did pass. Its heartbreaking that I studied for nclex but failed. I am more than determined to pass this second time! Thank you for your response by the way! I appreciate it!
  8. Wow! Thank you for this information! I really appreciate your effort @steppybay! I was planning on endorsing my license to CA after I get it but sadly, I failed the NCLEXRN on my first attempt the other day. I don't know what went wrong because all along I thought I was doing good. I graduated from the PI but read the Saunders book cover to cover, answered 1/4 of LaCharity and read a lot of strategies but still I didn't make it. I will definitely read the threads that you suggested so I can have more idea on that concurrency issue. Thank you so much!
  9. Hi @JasonKa! I will check on the Uworld! Sounds new to me but I will definitely check that out! Thank you!
  10. Thank you @Nibbles1! I already put Kaplan on my list! I will definitely try it! I will do everything just to pass this. Thank you again! I appreciate it so much!
  11. Oh I see. I'll wait for the CPR then. I guess they will mail it to me in a week or two. Thank you! :)
  12. I'm in California and yes, you are right, language is not a problem for me. It is probably because what they taught me there back in my hometown is different from what nclex wants me to answer. I studied Saunders cover to cover and practice LaCharity though, but still I failed. There's gotta be something that I'm missing. I'm taking it again in October. Do you think its better for me to take review classes? or should I just stick to self studying and just buy some more books? Thank you for the response! I appreciate it!
  13. Hi RNsRWe! I am a registered nurse. I hold an active license in my hometown.
  14. Congratulations! I agree with you that myths are myths! Why? Because I took the NCLEX RN exam the other day, computer shut off at 90, i got 18 SATA, 4 exhibits,1 calc and the rest are priority and infection control questions. They said if you get a lot of SATA and priority question (aka "the hard questions") you are above the passing rate. I didn't get any general/basic questions also which they say are the "below the passing rate" questions, guess what? I failed. I'm retaking it again after 45 days. I am a foreign educated nurse and passing rate is 32% so I am not that devastated. I will just do my best on my 2nd attempt.
