Hi everyone! I'm starting this discussion for those who applied for SMU ABSN program for the Fall 2024 cohort! I was curious if anyone has received updates/email yet. I personally applied to the Sacramento program. Good luck everyone! I  

I submitted my application February 1st and never received an email from Samuel Merritt about my application being received either

Okay, I think they may just be sending the emails in chronological order from the latest applications send in to the earliest that was submitted. It may take longer for people who sent them in earlier to receive an email, that's just my thought process

I sent mine in Jan too and I only got something from CAS nothing from SMU themselves. But ik they were able to see my app, because they were able to open it today. but thats about all I know

I just got the email from them confirming they received my application.

Oh good.  May I ask what does your application say on your CAS?  Does it just say verified?

Yes, it just say verified

oh okay, weird, I have yet to get anything and I put mine in maybe like 1st or 2nd week.

I wouldn't worry, as long as the nursing CAS says it's verified, you should be fine. I'm sure they have a lot of applications to review!

Yeah thats what im thinking. I just got an email from admissions review team tho and they asked about my in progress pre reqs for patho and pharmacology since they didn't receive a transcript yet but I sent it back and gave them a time line etc. just a heads up in case anyone else gets that email.

I received the email saying they received my app this afternoon.
