Hello all! I am new to Allnurses and I recently decided to change my academic career path from biomedical engineering to nursing. I am (hopefully) going to graduate from San Jose State University in May 2017. I was wondering if anyone has applied/ got accepted to Samuel Merritt's Accelerated BSN program? I was wondering if it's a hard school to get into? I am hoping to apply for Fall 2017. My engineering GPA is not that great but I already took the TEAS and did pretty well on that; I also need to complete Micro, A&P, Nutrition, and a couple other nursing pre-reqs.
Hi all! Still waiting to hear back regarding admission for Sacramento Fall 2017. For those who have heard back, are you receiving an acceptance email in the morning? Trying to be very patient but can't help but check my email every hour :/
I received mine around 8am on 6/12. It doesn't seem that anyone on here has received an admissions letter since the 12th. At least from what people are posting. It's odd that they are making people wait so long :/
Hi Emcryan, I have been waiting too. I think there are a few more people on here who haven't heard. As far as the timing, I checked the last cohort and some people got an acceptance email around 10am and some even heard in the afternoon. But most people say that they hear at 8am, regarding the acceptance.
