Hello all! I am new to Allnurses and I recently decided to change my academic career path from biomedical engineering to nursing. I am (hopefully) going to graduate from San Jose State University in May 2017. I was wondering if anyone has applied/ got accepted to Samuel Merritt's Accelerated BSN program? I was wondering if it's a hard school to get into? I am hoping to apply for Fall 2017. My engineering GPA is not that great but I already took the TEAS and did pretty well on that; I also need to complete Micro, A&P, Nutrition, and a couple other nursing pre-reqs.
I'm looking into SFSU AND SJSU for next year. But I'm really hoping to get into SMU this year, so I don't waste anymore time. Can't wait to start. I think they are still going through applications, I haven't heard of anyone being waitlisted till now. Hopefully we hear some good news next week.
Someone was waitlisted? I was assuming that we were waiting so long because they were creating the waitlist.
If i don't get in I signed up for two summer classes, just to boost my gpa. Then maybe study for GRE for UCSF and SF state. I'll apply to USF and UC Davis entry level master program too.
