Hello all! I am new to Allnurses and I recently decided to change my academic career path from biomedical engineering to nursing. I am (hopefully) going to graduate from San Jose State University in May 2017. I was wondering if anyone has applied/ got accepted to Samuel Merritt's Accelerated BSN program? I was wondering if it's a hard school to get into? I am hoping to apply for Fall 2017. My engineering GPA is not that great but I already took the TEAS and did pretty well on that; I also need to complete Micro, A&P, Nutrition, and a couple other nursing pre-reqs.
I'm going to be open here, because I'm curious and my comment could possibly help others! I was just placed as #9 on the wait list; and I'm hoping there is movement. I'm crossing my fingers for others who are on the wait list or are still waiting for their app decision. Has anyone heard about people being accepted from the wait list? I'm going to check on the previous cohort forum pages :)
Hi all! I've been following this thread for a bit and pulled my application because I started the entry level MSN at USF this summer. If anyone has any questions about that program feel free to reach out. I was waitlisted there and ended up getting in, so don't give up hope to any of you on the waitlist! Good luck to everyone!
I can't get over that you both were told you were #9!!!
If people were notified at the end of May and Mid June, they've already had 10 days to accept or decline. I'm curious if they know how many spots are still open and when they plan on notifying the waitlist!!! Is it every time we move up a spot? or every week?
