Samuel Merritt Uni- Spring 2011 BSN Transfer Applicants

Hi Alls-

I was wondering if you folks are transferring from the sister schools.

And for the folks for transferred from a JC, did you have all your preqs completed?

I also applied to Samuel Merritts BSN program but currently have 4 preqs in progressing this Fall 2010 semester, I have not heard from them yet but I have not relieved a rejection letter either. :confused:

I think I am the only one in the group transferring from a sister school. Don't give up hope because I know people who got accepted a week before classes started. Good Luck!:)

The problem is the tuition deposit and letter of intent were due on the 19th, so I think they have finished sending out acceptance letters (though I could be mistaken). I would call the admissions office and see if they've finished sending out waitlist announcements. (Also check your junk mail just in case!)

There is a chance that they are still sending out waitlist notices. There are people at my school 9sister school) who may not pass the TEAS exam or get the B-'s they need to transfer. Eventhough the deposit and the letter of intents are due on the 19th there are stiil people who got accepted but dedcide not to go to SMU. Just wait a little bit longer and I will keep my fingers crossed for u!

I got into CSU Long Beach for their BSN program, but i live in san francisco, im deciding if i do not get into SM whether i want to move down to So-cal.

Did you guys apply anywhere else? and have to make a choice? or was SM ur only choice?

Congrats on getting into Long Beach! I was going to apply to SF state, but got accepted to SMU before I finished the application process:) So now I am stuck taking a very boring logic class that I needed for state school, oh well! I hope you get into SMU, but I hear Long Beach has a really great program too (I was going to apply there as well but like you, was unsure of the move).

Hi Guys!

I applied for spring 2011 too and have not heard ANYTHING back from them!! No rejection, acceptance, or waiting list letter?! does anyone know if they are still sending stuff out?? I'm in a panic waiting for these letters! thanks!

Admissions is pretty disorganized, so maybe you should call or go over there to see if everything is finalized. I know that tuition deposits have already been due, and that they are now sending out student info to everyone who has confirmed attendance to the university. Based on this I doubt they are still sending out acceptance announcements (they were electronic and I'm pretty sure they all went out at the same time). Ask them if they have sent out all waitlist announcements. I've had to be VERY proactive dealing with admissions and you DO get answers if you keep in contact with them;)

Ugh I just called admissions and they said they are still sending out acceptance letters until the next week so hopefully everyone who hasn't gotten one will get one soon!
