I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Hey I logged in with my nursing cas email and I created a password. I am still able to access my portal too I’ve basically been checking all night

so everyone that’s been hearing back wasn’t from the BSN program? Was it the ABSN? Tons of people have been saying that they were in I’m super Confused!

I was able to create an account but I hope it will not Jeopardize ones opportunity because it says do not access until you’re admitted and my say it’s being reviewed

It won’t ? I’ve been checking it since it September LOL and I got in, so I think it’s safe to do

Hey guys.I see that some people go accepted  into BSN program  Spring 2021  I didn’t get any letters yet .Does that mean I didn’t get in ☹️

Just got a rejection email. I am a bit surprised considering I have a 3.8 GPA, academic honors, over 200 hours of volunteer healthcare experience, and no courses in progress. I thought I had a good chance of making the waitlist, if not getting accepted. To those that got in, I wish you the best and congratulations!! To those that did not, keep your head held high. It must have been extremely competitive this time. It does not take away from your potential to become a nurse. Keep applying, eventually you’ll get in. ❤️

I am so sorry to hear! Yes it is very competitive this year! My application looks similar to yours, plus I speak three languages.  I thought I had pretty good chances. 

Thank you for your kind words, and you are right! I only applied to SMU, because I fell in love with this school from day one. Maybe it's time to look elsewhere ?
