I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

My portal still says under review. Based on previous forums they should have updated by now if we are to get emails tomorrow morning. I'm starting to think not all of us will get emails tomorrow, just like ABSN. Thats going to suck so much ?

Totally get it!! But I think it's better that way than not getting accepted at all. ? You probably have still a good chance, since you can access your portal.

For everyone that did get accepted, CONGRATS! Also, how did you guys get the acceptance notification?! Was it via email OR is it because you checked the student portal? I have not logged into any portal, are we allowed to do this? If so, how can we check?

I'm more so concerned for the people need to make decisions about work, moving, etc. I personally need to figure out my work situation if in fact I do or do not get accepted. If this turns into what the ABSN people are currently dealing with- where some people know their plans, and others do not, its kind of crappy.

I made a SMU portal account which I used to see whether I got in or not. I created the account about a week or two ago. It says not to make an account until you are an admitted student but you can just ignore that and go ahead and create one anyway. This is how many students in the past found out their status. When making your account be sure to use the same email that you used for NursingCas.

I was able to refresh my portal all day and now all of a sudden I can’t log in. Ughh. Must mean I didn’t get in.
