Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

OMG I’m freaking out. I don’t understand why they can’t just send everything at the same time. Can you guys ask if there’s a method to when they roll out? Like if all the acceptances are sent first, etc?

Hijacking from ABSN, so some people got their acceptances already but others haven’t heard anything (me). From other people, seems like they go in waves.

I just saw someone ask when the emails will be sent out and Shawna said today and tomorrow.

They said some are being sent today, but the bulk will be tomorrow. VERY nervous now

Saeed, do you mind if I ask what is the first letter in your last name? I am wondering if they are sending emails by alpha order.

Seems logical that they'd send both admission & rejection letters in alphabetical order. But who knows?!?! Good luck to all. We've each done our parts. It's in the universe's hands now. Stay optimistic! I really appreciate everyone being open and encouraging.

Sure, my last name is Saeed so it will be S. I haven't heard anything from SMU yet.

Mid October.... .-. Then they said  within 2 weeks of mid October haah. So, seems they are behind
