Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

@Phoebe1991 What letter does your last name start with? I think they're updating the portals randomly but just want to make sure

It starts with N, so it seems like they are updating them randomly

Hey everyone! I am super excited for all of you!! 

I had a question as I am applying to the Fall 2021 start. For your letters of rec, how did you go about sending those in. Do we have to email the school to then email the person who is writing the letter of rec? I'm very confused so any instruction would help greatly.

Hi,

No in nursingcas, you have to provide the emails of the people who are going to write you a recommendation.  NursingCas will send out an email to them.

You should notify the people separately as well, who are writing your recommendation and tell them that they should look out for an email from nursingcas.

Hi,

Go to the ‘ references’ page and you add the person and their email address. NursingCAS will reach out to the people on your reference’s list via the email you provide. You do not have to email the school.

Has anyone else been admitted on the portal? I’m kinda freaking out a little bit since it’s just me so far LOL

I keep going back just to make sure it didn’t disappear LOL
