Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2021 term at SMU. Has anyone applied or planning on applying? Feel free to drop your stats and scores!

Mid-November??! So now we have to wait an extra month (originally supposed to find out mid October). This is really frustrating. Especially for those that wanted to hear back before taking the time and money to apply again for fall 2021.

It’s recommended we begin a fall app because decision is so close to the fall deadline

So they get the money from people twice even if the person ends up getting accepted into Spring. Wow this worked out well for them LOL

Well you don’t pay unless you submit it. So If accepted you just wouldnt submit the application

AdriN, for SMU or do you mean in general? Did someone recommended it? I tried to see if we are able to apply to SMU again before getting a decision, but it didn't let me. Is there another way to do it? Because mid November is really to close to December 1st deadline.

Have you all taken the TEAS and/or HESI? Shawna said that either will be accepted for Fall 2021 Admission. Really don't want to be talking about Fall 2021 Admission, LOL. Ahh!

Oh so you're saying to have it ready just in case and then submit once we find out? I guess it depends on how late in November they notify us.

Shawna recommended it. Before fully logging  into NCAS, to the left is a link to start another application. Just click "here" and it will allow you to apply for Fall/

Shawna told me. I attended the BSN drop in just now. I also tried to and I could not access it? I’m thinking it’s because we already have BSN app in progress

Make sure you're logging in on NursingCAS in the right application cycle.
