Hii!!!

I've been looking all over for a thread about SM ELMSN Fall 2012 but have not found any!! So I guess I'll be the first to post something about it. Since application deadline is today, any hopefuls like to share their application experiences, stats, goals, anything related to nursing school? Now that apps are completed, the waiting begins...sooooo exciteddd!!! I applied to the FNP track, crossing my fingers

Yeah i did call the admissions office at first and that's when my call just got transferred to Krein's voicemail. I'm afraid if I call or email again i'll just seem annoying and they might reject my admission and definitely not give me an interview.

Has anyone received any emails saying they were not given an interview yet?

Aside from interview invites this is the most recent email we received from Karena.

HELLO:

I have received many emails and calls from fall 2012 ELMSN applicants regarding status. I am sending this email in hopes that it will ease your mind. This email means we have your application. I may have, or I am in the process of reviewing it. If anything was unclear or missing-I will or I have emailed you. I did send an initial status email earlier, which can change. Here is the latest:

1) Applications are still being reviewed.

2) Interviews are happening in the month of February

3) If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the School of Nursing directly

4) Decisions should go out in late February or early March (by email)

I am sorry, but I cannot give you an individual status of where your file is at this point. I hope that this timeline helps in some way.

Anyone know anything about whether or not there is an early decision process?

I heard some students are admitted right after their interview as early admitted and the rest has to wait 2 weeks after their interview for a decision

Was there an early admit deadline separate from the regular one?

When they say early admit, that means they really like you as a student and you interviewed well. There was no doubt they want you. In case management, I heard it can happen as soon as right after the interview or they might call you the same day. I have a feeling this is for students that they already knew were going to be accepted. For FNP, I don't think it works that quickly... Especially because it is a group interview.I still have like three weeks until my interviews... I'm not sure why they scheduled it so far in advance. And Resilience, my friend, who is in the CM program right now got a call after all the interviews to come and interview... So just because you didn't get any notification yet doesn't mean you still can't get in.

It seems like some people who interviewed last year for the FNP program heard 2 days after their interview for early admit. May someone who interviewed on the first date confirm this?

Hey guys! I'm also wondering the same thing amfo asked. Also, for those who haven't heard back, please don't despair. One of my friends is in the program and he told me that they do send out invitations in waves. I didn't get an email but received a call earlier to interview this Saturday. For those who interviewed on the 4th, how did it go?

Hello there! Call the # back and say you had a missed call from them and see what they say. Hopefully it's an invite to join us this weekend. They may have tried to leave a message. You never know. Sometimes my phone doesn't record all my messages.
