Hii!!!

I've been looking all over for a thread about SM ELMSN Fall 2012 but have not found any!! So I guess I'll be the first to post something about it. Since application deadline is today, any hopefuls like to share their application experiences, stats, goals, anything related to nursing school? Now that apps are completed, the waiting begins...sooooo exciteddd!!! :nurse: I applied to the FNP track, crossing my fingers :uhoh3:

Btw, Hello to all of you! I have applied for the ELMSN-FNP program for Fall 2012 as well. I wish everyone luck and hope to meet you in the near future! Here are my stats:

Cumulative gpa: 3.85

Science gpa: 3.1

TEAS adjusted individual score: 86.0%

Reading: 85.7% National: 70.5%

Math: 100% National: 69%

Science: 89.6% National: 53.6%

English: 70.0% National: 63.8%

Percentile Rank National: 96%

Pecentile Rank Program: 92%

I am very excited yet nervous at the same time! Does anyone know when they will begin to notify us? Has anyone here applied before? :-)

I recently did my application too!! I also applied to the FNP track!!Im excited a nervous at the same time because I know that this is a competitive program. I haven't taken my TEAS yet..have you??

I took the TEAS on Nov 21st, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it'd be. When are you planning to take yours?

Btw, I finally got a hold of Karena and she said that she hasn't gone through the applications yet...so I'm thinking we'll here back from them sometime late Dec-Jan time frame. Good luck to everyone!!!

I was told the same thing about the TEAS. :) I was just wondering if there is more too it than that.

I took the TEAS Nov 2.

Back in October, I was told that the applications are reviewed by admissions in December. In January, the faculty reviews them. Interviews are scheduled in February/March. It would be so wonderful to hear back soon!

I haven't logged on here in a while (which is why I haven't responded), but I'm getting nervous and excited again just thinking about the waiting process!!!

Thanks for the info. I was told the same thing. I called SM today and asked about the timeline for admission and I was told that it would be 3-4 months from the application deadline before we hear from them. That puts it right around February-March. What have you been doing to distract you from thinking about this??? :bugeyes: LOL!

I have received many emails and calls from fall 2012 ELMSN applicants regarding status. I am sending this email in hopes that it will ease your mind. This email means we have your application. I may have, or I am in the process of reviewing it. If anything was unclear or missing-I will or I have emailed you. I did send an initial status email earlier, which can change. Here is the latest:

1) Applications are still being reviewed.

2) Interviews are happening in the month of February

3) If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the School of Nursing directly

4) Decisions should go out in late February or early March (by email)

I am sorry, but I cannot give you an individual status of where your file is at this point. I hope that this timeline helps in some way.

Is it just me or have those emails made you more anxious?

So interview invites should be sent out by the end of this month or early February?

Hi all!I just got an email today that I am scheduled for an interview for the CM program. I'm freaking out and have no idea what to expect! From previous threads, it sounds like you just need to be yourself... But that sounds so vague! Anybody else in the CM program?I also applied for NP but haven't heard from them yet.

I just received an email today for an interview as well. I applied to the FNP program. I have looked through every post I came across regarding the interview and I came to the same conclusion, be yourself. I feel like there has to be something more we can do to prepare... If I find anything else out I will share it here. When is your interview?

I, too, received an email invitation today (for the ELMSN-FNP Program) and will be interviewing on February 11! I hope to meet many of you there. Will anyone else be interviewing on this date?
