Samuel Merritt ELMSN applicants, have you got a similar email?

hi guys who applied to the elmsn program at samuel merritt,

have you got any emails from the college>

i just got an email from the financial aid department saying:

"

greetings from samuel merritt college!

the office of admission has notified us that you have applied for admission. if you have not already done so, now is the time to complete your financial aid application for 2008-2009.

to help you get started, please follow these easy steps:

  • go to www.fafsa.ed.gov
  • click on “file a fafsa”
  • apply for 2008-2009
  • you will need your 2007 federal income tax information to follow the fafsa instructions
  • you will also need your four digit federal pin number. if you do not remember your pin number or never applied for one, you may request a pin number by going online at www.pin.ed.gov
  • the samuel merritt college school code number is xxxxxxx

if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at xxxxxxxx or xxxxxxx@samuelmerritt.edu."

is it some kind of standard email they sent everyone who applied? have you guys got one too?

I got the same thing - I guess that's one way of letting us know they got our applications! Did you apply for CM or NP? I've applied for CM.

Yep, I got it too, but I wish it was the email about an interview, like some other people got yesterday! Let's hope they are sending emails out all week?

I called them today, and they told me that they just started reviewing the applications.

So, hopefully we'll get THE email from them soon:)

Oh my gosh, immediately after posting my last message, I got an email from them to interview!! They asked if I could make the 9th, but I'm out of town, so I'll be interviewing on the 19th. Let me know when you hear from them, too!

Who was that email from? what was your GPA/science GPA? any hospital experience? what program did you apply, FNP or CM? could you PM me please,

are you guys talking about the 19-th of this month? so they are reviewing applications and interviewing applicants as they go, i guess. i still haven't gotten anything from them yet...

Yep, they are reviewing, interviewing and in some cases even accepting as they go! I know someone who was already accepted.

Congrats to those who got interviews! I haven't heard anything yet :( SMC is my last bet or I am off to Rochester. I really hope I hear something soon...I mailed in my application in October. Still nothing. O well..fingers crossed
