Samuel Merritt BSN Spring 2022

Hi everyone! 

I haven't seen anyone post about SMU's BSN program for Spring 2022 in Oakland. Is anyone applying? This is my first time applying and July 1st is coming up quick! 

Just asked ----------------- - “How many applicants applied for Spring 2022 BSN?”

shawn in a direct message said - roughly 180 applications and we’ll for sure hear on Friday Oct 15th about decisions for SMU! 64 students were admitted ?

How do you know how many got admitted?

From previous threads for the cohorts before, they always accept 64 students and somewhere around 8-10 students from the waitlist usually make it in.

She confirmed that we will hear this Friday on Oct. 15th.

Thank you for the info! I feel like that's so much less than in previous cycles, but I could be crazy. I know Spring 2021 was some record applicant number because of the whole "no HESI required" thing.

To the people who are brave enough to go on the admitted students portal today, let us know if it updated! I'm so nervous but mostly scared of the disappointment of not being accepted. Fingers crossed for all of us!
