YAY!!!

Same here, I've been waiting for anything regarding financials but haven't gotten anything. I will be calling them tomorrow. Everyone has been really difficult to get a hold of but I understand it's a really busy time for them right now.

I hope you get approved for private loans!! Which ones are you considering? I've researched Sallie Mae and Wells Fargo so far so I think I'm going with one of those.

Oakland wait-listers - how are you going to respond to the recent email?

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. They were accepted off of the OAKLAND wait-list. I am number 20 on the Oakland wait-list and number 29 and 35 which are behind 20 were accepted OFF of the OAKLAND wait-list. They were accepted into the SF cohort. That is exactly what I said. Am I not making sense? I'm confused... The whole point is that they were further down the wait-list and they still were accepted while I am still stuck on the wait-list.

I think the different cohorts are all treated differently, so the OAKLAND waitlist doesn't mean anything to the SF COHORT

Dude... I am saying that at least 2 Oakland wait-listers were taken off of the OAKLAND wait-list and accepted into the SF cohort. Someone help me out here... Am I not making sense??? Tamosaur applied to Oakland as first choice, she was 29 on the OAKLAND wait-list and she was accepted to the SF cohort to begin in April. I also thought they were all treated differently, but clearly from what I have been stating, using Tamosaur as a perfect example, they are not. I'm not sure how I can be more clear...

It doesn't make sense but we did go over some theories why I was offered a position in the April cohort and the people lower on the waitlist weren't. I probably had absolutely no chance of getting accepted into the Oakland cohort at #29. They probably offered the April cohort to the Oakland waitlisters from the highest number down because they had little to no chances of getting into the Oakland cohort.

Hey guys, it's katiebelle1 now katiebelle77 because my account was mysteriously deactivated, and I didn't even say anything negative. Not sure if it is a mistake or what but still very strange. Anyways, since I had to create a new account on here, I am not able to send (or receive?) any private messages until I post a certain # of posts.

Did y'all get an email today with your update on the Oakland waitlist? I am #2 on Oakland's waitlist as of today.

After this whole process is over, I will likely not use this site anymore because of the way it is managed. I think you all know what I am talking about.

And Tamosaur, Don't feel bad for a second about your spot in SF. I am very happy for you. Don't feel like you have to explain why it was offered to you. Let's face it, we are all in the dark in regards to the selection process criteria. We would all have taken the spot if we were you. It is Awesome you got in!:cheers:

Yes, totally tamo deserved to get in! I hope that my comments were not taken the wrong way towards tamo.. I just was just trying to prove my point to nutella. Super excited for you tamo, we might be in the same cohort also, because I think I am going to put my name on the SF cohort as well. :)
