Hi everyone! :nurse:

So, the applications are due today (September 1st) for summer admission to ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. How does everyone feel about their application?? :up: :down: What campus did you apply to?

My chest is still hurting =( .. sometimes I fear that the suspense alone will kill me before I even find out.

Thanks for keeping us updated though! It's reassuring to know that the admissions people are actually doing their jobs.

Nope...looks like its tomorrow, or next week, or the week after, or up to the first week of class.

I've heard rumors that some people that were wait-listed were notified that they were accepted after the first day of instruction.

Hi all,

I've been following this post for a while and have decided it was time to join in. I, like everyone else, was very nervous and anxious to find out what my status was and how to proceed with life. However, I had a break last Friday when I was informed that I was accepted to the San Francisco cohort, which is now held at the San Mateo campus. The counselor was very excited to personally call everyone instead of email. She also mentioned that she has not received any information on the Oakland or San Mateo cohort; therefore, I don't think they have finalized their decision. Since the San Mateo cohort starts in June, those who applied to Oakland should hear first. I hope this helps.

NS-student, first of all, CONGRAAAAAAATS!!!!! That's great news to hear that you've been accepted! Yeah, even though this wait is killing me, I've accepted that I may not hear anything back till as early as next week or even the following 2-3 weeks. Thanks for the info. It definitely helps with calming down my through-the-roof-nerves.

CONGRATS Ns-student!!

I have so much anxiety right now. I've been thinking about my application and am fearing that maybe it wasn't good enough. I got an 82.7% on my TEAS and I don't feel so good about that score.

So many scenarios are running through my head.. AHHH!!!

Congrats, Ns-student!! I hope that I can join the excitement with you! :) I think you're right. Oakland and SM may still be finalizing their decision. Now I wished I applied to SF instead lol. I hope the rest of us hear back soon. :)

It's 9:08 a.m...office is open....I just started to get that excited, butterfly feeling in my stomach at the thought of hearing back today so yes, I hope we do hear back today. However, I have a feeling it won't be today.

On another note...did anybody take Pharmacology at U of WY? That is the one class I did poorly in so I am hoping it doesn't hurt my application too much.
