Hey guys! I'm new to this forum but has anyone applied for Spring 2018 Cohort yet? I'm not sure if the applications are open yet but that is the cohort that I want to apply to. I will have my BA in Sociology in December 2017 and I am still doing my prerequisites. If you've already applied or are a current student, let me know if you think I'll have a chance at getting in.
Degree: BA in Sociology
Last 60 unit GPA: 3.4 (hoping to raise it to 3.6 by end of year)
Science GPA: 3.5 (still need to do Microbiology & Physiology)
Non-Science: 3.1 (Completed all)
CNA License: Yes
Paid Job Experience: Yes for 1.5 years
*Haven't taken HESi exam yet, but I will this month
Please help, what were your GPA's when you got in and when did you find out you were accepted? Also, if you were ever on the waitlist, when did you finally get accepted?
This is my theory: I think admission decisions for Sacramento are sent out the same time they send out ELMSN because a lot of the same people have probably applied to both programs and ELMSN interviews aren't even gonna start until the end of this month, so finding out in October would make sense. BUT since San Mateo only has aBSN program, then they probably send out their decision earlier.
I am doing the same- you're not alone. SMU is the only school I applied to, and I have really put ALL of my effort into getting in so I am really quite anxious without knowing!! I'm trying to just think positively and prepare for beginning in January (as if I have already been accepted)-- bought a new little lunch bag, a new watch, getting advice from nurse friends, etc. POSITIVE MANIFESTING! Other than that, I'm actually trying to not talk about it TOO much to anyone (because then everyone will keep asking if I've heard yet)-- so really just trying to distract myself and enjoy my fairy simple life right now- before crazy, busy 2018!

I wrote them because I have a commitment deadline for another program coming up and was wondering where they are in the process - they said 1-2 weeks for decision notifications so hopefully that's accurate!
