  1. Has anyone received an acceptance OR a rejection from L&D or Maternity?
  2. Same!! I'm sure we were all obsessively checking our email these last few days! Disappointing and hard to not have heard at all. I wish I knew if anyone has heard if they actually got the second interview. I'm assuming we didn't get an interview if we haven't heard. But I still have a little shred of hope because with the first interview they said they'd let us know by a certain date and then it wasn't until the week after. So maybe plans changed about when they will be doing a second interview? Who knows. Going to try to get my mind off of it for a couple days since it's now the weekend and we won't hear anything until Monday again anyways. Good luck to you!
  3. For those of you that interviewed for L&D-- has anyone heard anything, either way? I thought they said they would let us know either way by the end of the week. I haven't heard anything. But I am assuming since the 2nd interview is Monday, I didn't get one. Unless there was a change of plans and they didn't inform us?
  4. Does anyone know how long interviews will be? Mine is at 8am. I see that there are interviews scheduled at 9:30am too. Do you think they will be 1.5 hrs??
  5. are rejections still being sent out today? has anyone received an interview?`
  6. anyone hear anything yet? or has anyone reached out to HR and have a better idea of when we can expect to hear back?
  7. I don't know the answer to this but seems like something you could email HR about without bugging them. It's a short turn around from the time we find out to when actual interviews will be happening. Mine also still says submitted. I have a friend who applied to Stanford adult side (I did not) and she said hers says "in review". Also, I think a lot more than 400 people apply for these coveted positions, but I could be wrong. I've heard closer to 1,000.
  8. did anyone hear anything today? this is going to be a long week... hoping they really do stick to the timeline posted on the website!
  9. Just wondering if anyone else's application status still just says "submitted" rather than "under review" or something else...
  10. After you submit the app and your resume, you will see an option to upload attachments.
  11. Did anyone add other references beyond just the Letters of Recommendation? I have two employees at LPCH that have said I can use them as a reference but I'm not sure where to upload this info. I'm thinking maybe just a attached word doc with their contact info?
  12. that's great! I'm also applying for labor and delivery! hope to finish up my application tomorrow! good luck!
  13. Hello, I have a couple questions regarding the LPCH application: 1) I have a some "licenses and certificates" that are listed in my resume....do I also put them under this section in the application? I have quite a few that are related to unit I'm applying, as well as ACLS, BLS, etc.....just wondering if people are also inputing all this info in the app if it's already listed in your resume. 2) Who are you addressing the cover letter to? Mine just says "LPCH New Grad Hiring team"....is this OK? 3) under preferences, the options are locations not specialties....where do we input our specialty choices? 4) if we have more than one personal reference (not letter), do we just upload a doc with their name, title and phone number under "personal references"?
  14. I am #4 on the waitlist for San Mateo....I recently emailed Derric to see if there had been movement and he said there hasn't and to check back in FOUR WEEKS!!! It seems crazy to have to wait that long to find out- and it's cutting it a bit close to when school would begin!
