Hey guys! I'm new to this forum but has anyone applied for Spring 2018 Cohort yet? I'm not sure if the applications are open yet but that is the cohort that I want to apply to. I will have my BA in Sociology in December 2017 and I am still doing my prerequisites. If you've already applied or are a current student, let me know if you think I'll have a chance at getting in.

Degree: BA in Sociology

Last 60 unit GPA: 3.4 (hoping to raise it to 3.6 by end of year)

Science GPA: 3.5 (still need to do Microbiology & Physiology)

Non-Science: 3.1 (Completed all)

CNA License: Yes

Paid Job Experience: Yes for 1.5 years

*Haven't taken HESi exam yet, but I will this month

Please help, what were your GPA's when you got in and when did you find out you were accepted? Also, if you were ever on the waitlist, when did you finally get accepted?

Hi!

I applied for the ABSN Spring 2018 cohort at the San Mateo campus. I have received an email saying my application is being reviewed. Just wondering if anyone else had heard anything beyond that?

I live in Santa Cruz and will be commuting-- is anyone else in this postition?

Looking forward to finding out about acceptance (fingers crossed) soon!

I'm pretty sure the website says 2-3 months after the deadline (July 1st). I'm just telling myself early October (which would be a full 3 months) so I don't drive myself too crazy!

I emailed Kirsten and she said that we'll hear by the end of October or early November. I hope its sooner than that.

Has anyone heard anything yet? and has anyone asked any of he advisors if the deadline has really been extended because it doesn't show on their website.

Hi. When I spoke with Kirsten, she told me the deadline was extended to Aug 1st. She also said we would hear back late October/ early November.

I know what you mean. ☹ I also heard from another student that people on the waitlist from last application cycle can or already have been granted acceptance to the spring cohort (depending how close they were to the beginning of the waitlist).

It sounds like decisions for the San Mateo campus for Spring 2018 should be coming out in the next 1-2 weeks!
