I noticed threads for other Samuel Merritt campuses and semesters but not the ABSN program that starts January 2010 in San Mateo. I was a little discouraged to read all of the frustrations of the San Francisco campus for fall. San Mateo is my #1 choice and it was only between that and Sac for winter semester. I'm wondering if there is anyone else who applied for 2010 in either campus. From what I gathered from other posts it takes about 3-4 months to get a reply? Its gonna be a looong wait! Who's waiting with me?
thanks for the info..It is just kinda odd, i received an email that i was on the wait list early oct too but they never gave me a number. I wonder if I should give them a call?

Yeah I was notified later because of their error, they originally denied my application until I pushed for it. What number did they tell you that you were at? They said that they put me on the waitlist based on how my app compared to others, not the time that they notified me. Hope this clears things up and you get the call soon!
Congrats jenjen. It is confusing how SMU gets their wait list, when i called to check i was informed that they assign each person a number, and some numbers might be left out. For example, they had no one as # 1! I am not sure why they do that? I am waiting anxiously to hear something back from them.

I am def. accepting the offer, I have to let them know by the 23rd, along a $350 deposit. I hope this helps!

I am accepting and I have to let them know by November 25th and send in $350.
I got the call today that I was accepted! I was #12 on the waitlist so I was not sure if I would get in but I am so happy that I did! I will see you all for orientation on Thursday and Friday! Also, is anyone relocating and looking for a roommate? I am relocating from Southern California so I need somewhere and someone to live with, I have looked on Craigs List but I would prefer to live with a fellow nursing student. I have furniture and everything so let me know if you are interested. Send me a pm. Thank you!
