Hello everyone, I haven't seen a thread for the ABSN Fall 2021 Start (Sacramento, San Mateo) so here it is. ? 

Denied from the Sacramento Campus. I'm assuming I didn't get into the San Mateo Campus either, but wondering when I'll find out.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I just checked the portal and it says my application is being reviewed.

Hopefully that means good news!! Fingers crossed you get in! I emailed admissions and she said I was competitive in everything except my overall science GPA (which is 3.06) I would need to retake either physio or anatomy before reapplying.. I am going to look more into other schools and hope that I have better luck, definitely feeling defeated and not wanting to try right now.

I only applied to Sacramento campus, I wish they would be specific on why we were denied. Admissions only response is what she is “assuming to be the reason behind the denial”.  
 

My stats: 

science GPA: 3.06

HESI: cumulative 89

overall GPA: 3.4

I also had 3 classes in progress (which are complete now) and she said that it really wouldn’t change my application at all to reapply without redoing anatomy or physiology (or both) to improve my science GPA.

Thank you, I hope so too! Please don't give up! I'm sure if you retake one of those sciences it'll improve your GPA. My science GPA is 3.50 but that's because I retook Anatomy and Chemistry and got an A in both classes so that definitely improved my science GPA.

When I checked my portal, it says the I am currently on the wait list for the Sacramento campus. For those of you who said their application is still being reviewed, which campus did you apply to? I’m wondering if they only released Sacramento decisions. I’m waiting to get the email to tell me my position on the list, still trying to stay hopeful!

Maybe that is a good sign! I don’t want to jinx anything but so far anyone who has checked is either denied or waitlisted from Sac. If you don’t mind, telling me your stats and experience, I’m trying to get ready for the July 1st application since Sac is my preferred campus. Any feedback helps ?

oh my goodness this is making me so nervous! I applied to Sacramento only and it still says my application is being reviewed. I'm so sorry to those who didn't get in, especially since you've had to wait so long. I hope you reapply!

I applied to Sacramento campus and made a portal login a few weeks ago and literally nothing shows up under the checklist tab... just a blank page. 

No emails either. ugh the anticipation is killing me!
