Does anyone know of any good NCLEX-PN "play tests" or sample tests online, preferably free? I have found quite a few for the RN, but not the LPN.
Thank you!
katmiaow :)

Welcome katmiaow, I'll move your thread to the student forum for better exposure. Good Luck!

Hi:
Try this, there are 250 NCLEX-PN questions with rationales that you can access for free.
http://www.informit.com/articles/article.asp?p=402464
Also, don't omit doing the free NCLEX-RN questions you've found as there is some overlap in test content. Questions specific to the RN role would not be on the NCLEX-PN but safe and effective nursing care for clients with specific conditions is the same.

hey katmiaow,
try www.studyguidezone.com and www.nclex-pass.com... the first link i gave you has 5 practice tests, 20 questions each with the answer key with rationale at the end. the second link i gave you is only 12 questions but you can answer right on the computer and then submit and it will also give you the answers with rationale. i'm still looking for more so as i find them i will send you the site's.

Hi, thanks for the links. I tried
www.nclex-pass.com and answered 12 questions and I got 11 right. I missed one cuz I didn't go with my first instinct like they always say u should. :slap: > that's a slap for me lol. I never go wit the first instinct no matter how many times I heard ppl say this 2 me. :)
I'm going to try the first link as well. Thanks once again.

The PN exam seems to get short shrift when it comes to prep material. I would go with what is out there and also consider RN reviews. You can distinguish between the questions calling for the PN viewpoint from the RN viewpoint.

Im taking the Nclex for the 4th time but havent paid much thought to it since 2009. I have just recently decided to go back and give it another shot for the L.P.N. does anybody have any suggestions on review courses or classes?
