I am LPN and muslim, and speak urdu (Pakistani) I think you did just fine. Usually after birth, husband or anyone muslim who knows Azan,(muslim call for Prayer) will say Azan in new born baby in right and left ear gently. other then that it is just univeral care like you would do with any other pt.

Hi every one I am in a situation, I am a new grad LPN, just found one job I execpted it, but after I execpted a job offer, they gave me a contract to sign, stating that they will give me 240 hours of orientation and I have to work for them for 2 years. If for any reason I leave before that I have to pay them $5000 plus legal fees. Any advice what should I do?

I am a nurse and graduated on oct 19 2009, I am still looking for a job in nursing. I have applied God knows many places. Every single one same answer,"we are not hiring new grads". I think I have wasted my time going to school for nursing. I believe Nursing market is oversaturated. All my fellow students are still looking for the Job. I am tired of listening over the Tv, online and newspaper that there is great nursing shortage.where? Everyone who is getting laid off from job, poeple are telling them go for nursing. At this point I am willing to move out to another state. Can someone tell me which states are hiring. I have wasted my 2 years in school to become LPN.

I live in Massachusettes, Boston area, new grad LPN , Can anyone tell me where are nursing jobs? Two months into job hunting but no luck so far. Everyone (nursing homes)saying they are not hiring. So where are nursing shortage!!!! . Hospitals don't hire LPNs anymore atleast that's a buzz. any intake to find a job please.

Hello Scherie, I took my test on Monday the 19th. I got same type of questions and almost got more then fifteen Sata questions which I hated them in school. and few infaction control, many on Depression, and about 10 to 12 questions on meds some of them i never heard. My computer shut down at 85. When i came out I was 100 percent sure i failed. Telling my parents, wife and friends ,i did horrible. But i passed. I think my test taking skills paid off. My prays are with you. I think you will pass.

Can anyone help me find the answer for. Do we need to check pt urine output as nursing intervention before blood transfusion.? Please provide me reference with your answer Thanks.

I live in MA I want to know if inserting NG tube is in lpn scope of parctice. I am confused, school said it it not lpn scope but I found nclex-pn question in Kaplan q-bank which did not have any option that said lpn should not do it

a good attitude in my class there were few people with really bad attitude they were always distrub class and clinical. thanks god they did not make it to third semester. i will never let my parents go under there care. please have humble and good attitude

I think we all are in same "sacrifing boat". It is well worth sacrifing job, relationship, money, family in the end.
