I am starting this thread to connect with other students who are applying to get into SHSU nursing program this upcoming fall. I applied last Fall but unfourtunatley my application was lost due to technical difficulties( most likely from the hurricane). Anyways feel free to post any scores, questions, or knowledge you have in regards to the program!

Hi you guys! I'm new to the forum but I haven't gotten an email yet. What are y'all's stats if you don't mind me asking? & Do y'all already go to Sam? I currently go to TXST right now.

I haven't gotten an e-mail yet either. My stats are:

TEAS- math= 100% and reading= 87%

cumulative GPA= 3.89

math/science GPA=3.78

I did turn in all of my vaccinations/titers on time.

I got an e-mail at 3:00 today saying that I got in so I think maybe they will send out more e-mails tomorrow or Friday?

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.70

Science & Math GPA: 3.64

Also a bonus point because I took 12 credit hours at Sam

No, I haven't received an E-mail yet. So I'm a bit confused but hopefully we all get one by tomorrow!

I just spoke with them they said it will be 21 days after your application has been reviews so she said we all should know by middle of June up until the end of June. I was concerned becacuasr of my scholarships pending

I was told that about 330 people applied. I also haven't heard anything either.

Math and Science: 4.0

Pre- Nursing: 3.60

TEAS

Math: 100

Reading: 85
