I am starting this thread to connect with other students who are applying to get into SHSU nursing program this upcoming fall. I applied last Fall but unfourtunatley my application was lost due to technical difficulties( most likely from the hurricane). Anyways feel free to post any scores, questions, or knowledge you have in regards to the program!

Got my conditional acceptance today! I was selected as an alternate first so very thankful to have gotten a spot! Can't wait to meet you all!

Have any of you accepted students received any emails from the Nursing Program since June 15th???

Murseboy, only thing I've gotten is the identigo email for fingerprinting. I'll let you know if I get something else í ½í¸Š

Murseboy, my best guess is that they are filling up the seats with alternates to have the cohort filled before sending us our project concert info. I already made the appt for the BLS class and will be going to my doctor for the first TB test this week. Just getting everything done now so that I can upload it all to Project Concert as soon as they send us the link.

Did you guys receive a separate email for the finger printing? I only got an email in my Sam one saying I should be receiving something.

@cmd072---- yes. I got instructions/appointment link to IdentoGo on the same day I got the Sam e-mail saying that we would receive something.

I haven't heard anything at all and I applied March 1st.

I am so confused I got a denial letter on June 8 that they couldn't extend a spot but on June 15 I got an email from identigo. Why would they put me on w.e list if I didn't get in or selected as a alternate. When I log into nursing application to look at my application it still says pending review.

Mine says pending review too, but I haven't received anything in the mail. When I spoke to some lady, she told me that they send out decisions in July.

Wait what!! They are giving to much conflicting information!! So it supposed to come in the mail not email?
