As I was going through looking for threads of the programs I plan to apply for I didn't see one for SHSU Spring 2019 so I decided maybe I would go ahead and start one!
I am currently finishing my associates of science and associates of humanities from Palo Alto College in San Antonio where I currently live, then will hopefully have everything in line for SHSU application when it opens up.
I do still have to take my TEAS exam which I have scheduled for June 27, I am so nervous about cutting a great score to help with my chance of admission, especially since I won't have the extra point for being a SHSU student.
I'm excited to hear from others who will be the applicant pool as well and hopefully we'll be starting our nursing journey together, good luck to everybody!!!
I feel like the fact that some people have until this Friday to turn into the corrections to their immunizations means we won't hear back until next week :/
I wonder why some people got more time? I had a correction as well and they only gave me till the 24th, thankfully I was able to do everything before then.

I also had the 24th deadline, I just hope that needing corrections isn't held against us or anything.

Not even gonna lie, I was really hoping that at least those of us who had the earlier deadline would've heard something back today. Oh me & my wishful thinking. Lol. Looks like they're taking it all the way out this time around.

On the bright side they are no longer waiting for any more documents and have no reason to possibly still be holding on to decisions! I feel like this week has got to be it!!

If they stand true to the "decisions will be made 45 days after the deadline", at the absolute latest we should know a week from today.
Hopefully they don't wait that long though & we at least will get to know by Friday!
The wait is almost over y'all! Not gonna lie, I have a mini heart attack each time I check and then nothing. Definitely a long wait compared to previous application periods. Just wondering now if they are going to send out decisions in waves or all at once.
