As I was going through looking for threads of the programs I plan to apply for I didn't see one for SHSU Spring 2019 so I decided maybe I would go ahead and start one!
I am currently finishing my associates of science and associates of humanities from Palo Alto College in San Antonio where I currently live, then will hopefully have everything in line for SHSU application when it opens up.
I do still have to take my TEAS exam which I have scheduled for June 27, I am so nervous about cutting a great score to help with my chance of admission, especially since I won't have the extra point for being a SHSU student.
I'm excited to hear from others who will be the applicant pool as well and hopefully we'll be starting our nursing journey together, good luck to everybody!!!
lmaooo thank God you guys mentioned this because I just saw that mine went away too and literally I could taste my stomach on my tongue LOL. This wait will literally be the death of me! I won't even make it to acceptances haha

The fact that the school keeps sending book emails or discount shirts hurts my stomach every time I see a new message in my email LOL
Right?!! I actually got a call from Sam Houston like two weeks ago! When I picked up, the lady said "congratulations!! You've been accepted.... into Sam Houston State University!" My heart was literally skipping beats I was soooo anxious thinking she was going to say nursing school, NOPPPEEEEE. WTFFF... Dude like I know you're trying to be nice, but don't EVER call a nursing applicant with a congratulations unless it's ACTUALLY into the program haha. I tried to sound nice, but she could definitely tell there was some annoyance in my voice LOLOL

I wonder if the fact that CCNE is visiting this month for their review of accreditation has anything to do with the delay in decisions? I'm sure there's some coordination & preparation taking place to ensure that all goes smoothly.

It's posted on the school of nursing's home page, I'm ashamed to admit that I stumbled across it while scouring the website aimlessly in hopes a decision would somehow appear!
Been stalking this forum for a while. Just wanted to know how long it took after you sent in your immunization corrections did the school let you know that they have received it and your application was complete?

I received my email back the same day I sent in the corrected documents.
My previous application no longer shows up either, but it was as of last week so not sure about that. Maybe enough time has passed since the closing date that it's pulled that application from view and is set up for a new one.
As far as the immunization email, I don't think it was a generic one sent to everybody. Some of our emails were for different errors with our immunizations and we had different deadlines to have it all updated, I could absolutely be incorrect though.

I feel like the fact that some people have until this Friday to turn into the corrections to their immunizations means we won't hear back until next week :/
