As I was going through looking for threads of the programs I plan to apply for I didn't see one for SHSU Spring 2019 so I decided maybe I would go ahead and start one!

I am currently finishing my associates of science and associates of humanities from Palo Alto College in San Antonio where I currently live, then will hopefully have everything in line for SHSU application when it opens up.

I do still have to take my TEAS exam which I have scheduled for June 27, I am so nervous about cutting a great score to help with my chance of admission, especially since I won't have the extra point for being a SHSU student.

I'm excited to hear from others who will be the applicant pool as well and hopefully we'll be starting our nursing journey together, good luck to everybody!!!

I sure hope so!!

The wait is almost over y'all! Not gonna lie, I have a mini heart attack each time I check and then nothing. Definitely a long wait compared to previous application periods. Just wondering now if they are going to send out decisions in waves or all at once.

I keep doing this to myself, knowing good and well they'll probably stick to Friday evening routine, lol.

So I think today might be the day because they have a pattern on when they release their decisions. They release fall decisions on Fridays and spring decisions on thursdays and this is the last Thursday before the 45 day deadline

Omg. I never realized that pattern, I was just so hung up on fall 2018 being a Friday.

That and with the program having just fully transitioned to the woodlands made past threads a little confusing to try to decipher decision dates.

I hope this is it then yall!

how many students are usually accepted to this program in spring? anyone know?

I got an email today saying I was preenrolled by my program for finger printing from BON.
