As I was going through looking for threads of the programs I plan to apply for I didn't see one for SHSU Spring 2019 so I decided maybe I would go ahead and start one!
I am currently finishing my associates of science and associates of humanities from Palo Alto College in San Antonio where I currently live, then will hopefully have everything in line for SHSU application when it opens up.
I do still have to take my TEAS exam which I have scheduled for June 27, I am so nervous about cutting a great score to help with my chance of admission, especially since I won't have the extra point for being a SHSU student.
I'm excited to hear from others who will be the applicant pool as well and hopefully we'll be starting our nursing journey together, good luck to everybody!!!
Somebody please tell me I'm not the only one obsessing over SHSU BSN "new student checklist" page? lol. I had seen in a previous thread where it updated for the new cohort the day results began to be sent out, I find myself pulling that up rather than my email.
I'm so anxious over here, I was like go figure the year I apply results take longer than usual to come out!

Right that would so happen to me ): lmao. Why couldn't I apply where everything was decided with in 2 weeks

Yup... we definitely got the short end of the application stick this semester LOL.
Well, today is October 1st, do y'all know what that means?
We'll for sure be finding out our SHSU nursing program fate this month! To be exact, sometime between today and the 15th. Lol.
At this point I've just put it in my mind we'll be waiting the full 45 days post application deadline, makes it easier to cope with, a little.
My first application didn't submit b/c of technical issues. I resubmit it and i can't view the status when I log in. It gives me the option to resubmit.. anyone else experience this? I also received an email about immunizations.. but by the looks of it may have been a generic email since I think everyone got it as well.

My previous application no longer shows up either, but it was as of last week so not sure about that. Maybe enough time has passed since the closing date that it's pulled that application from view and is set up for a new one.
As far as the immunization email, I don't think it was a generic one sent to everybody. Some of our emails were for different errors with our immunizations and we had different deadlines to have it all updated, I could absolutely be incorrect though.

lmaooo thank God you guys mentioned this because I just saw that mine went away too and literally I could taste my stomach on my tongue LOL. This wait will literally be the death of me! I won't even make it to acceptances haha

There's an accelerated booster series you can complete that doesn't take quite as long.
