Hi -
I am an LNA taking pt classes to become an RN (this is a long road)but thinking LPN is the route to go instead. Wondering what the starting salary is for an LPN. I know each state differs I am in NH.
Thanks!
I'm in BC Canada. When I finish my LPN program, my starting wage will be $22.19/hour. I will also get a 12% differential for being casual which will work out to $24.85/hour. I will also get weekend/night differential if I work those shifts. (I'm not 100% sure on these figures, this is what I've been told from a currently working LPN within my health authority)
It all sounds great, but I currently live in the 2nd most expensive city in Canada.

LTC pays around $20/hr for a new grad. Hospitals aren't hiring LPN's here that I know of. I'm doing private duty peds for $22. The cost of living isn't bad here except for gas prices is among the highest in the nation.
