Im a nursing student and i would like to know what is the starting pay rate for an RN with an associates degree?

Somewhere on here (I noticed you are from Illinois) someone posted the median salary in Chicago area is 26, or 28?

I was a new grad in Chicago over a year ago. 23.50 on a surg/tele unit.
