I am currently attending the St. Vincent's SON. I am not going to offer my personal opinion because they were bought by another company, so things are going to change (and in some ways they have already started to change).
The clinical experience is good there because they have many different areas that the students do their rotations on.
Also, Bayley Seton Hospital (which is a beautiful campus) was purchased and it is going to be turning into an active living center for senior citizens, so the site of the SOn is going to be changing (I think I heard to South Avenue, but don't hold me to it).
I am going to be graduating this December, and if you have any questeions, you can write them here, or PM me.

Trini, if you are an LPN in NYS, try www.excelsior.edu. I'm doing it now.

Hi Natingale,
Thank you for your response, i really appreciate it. I thought maybe their was another link with a little more info on the nursing program and the affiliated schools; Richmond county and Baley seton. :wink2:
Look their number up and give them a call.
Also, they are affiliated with St. Francis College in Brooklyn.

I am very familiar with the school, and I am not sure what this 'affiliation' with those schools are, if any. I know they have an affiliation with St Francis, but that will soon change, as they will eventually be offering all of their classes (pre-reqs and liberal arts requirements) at the school itself.
I don't know about that ... They are in a trasition phase we're they're trying to have teachers come to staten island and teach the non-nursing classes at bayley seton instead of the students traveling into brooklyn for the classes. But in the long run they'll still be affiliated with st. francis.

I don't know about that

How is it going? Have you finish the nursing program yet? I'm interested in attending in the spring of 2009. Any info would be very helpful.
