I thought it's cumulutive GPA first, then the program GPA, and then the teas. I thought that was how they ranked their applicants.

Is the GPA cumulative or is it just the classes you need for nursing.

Did you guys make an A in A&P 1?

Is the A&P class completely online including labs or do you have to come to the campus for labs?

Well, I didn't get accepted. I'm confused about something. The person in the register office at Lagrange College says that the transfer gpa system all works the same in Georgia. Well, if that's the case, another school I applied to in Georgia in their tranfer credits I received a 3.3. At Lagrange I receive a 2.70. I don't understantd. They were the same classes that transfer at both schools, but I received only a 2.70 at Lagrange. I talked to the person in the register office and they said a computer calculate this for them and even if I come in, it would make no difference, because it would say the same.

I know of two so far. Georgia Highlands and Gordon College. I need to apply for all of them in Georgia. I know that Georgia State has and accelerated BSN as well, but I won't be done taking all of the classes before the program start. Also, you will have to take two classes at there school to be considered. Please help.

What's the name of the college you are applying to for the ADN program, that accepts twice a year?

I applied for the nursing program for the fall of 09. I'm waiting to hear something back from them Friday.

Hello everyone. I'm in the same boat as you csweetooth. I'm attending Atlanta Metropolitian college right now. I just took my finals for the spring semester yesterday. I have to retake the net. because I only had a composite score of 71. They look at the reading comp. and that's it. I did horrible on the reading comp. 45, but made a 97 on the math. Once I get the transcript in and retake the net, they will reevaluate it. I was going to take the net at mercer again, but the next date wasn't until May 16th. I am taking it over at pearsonvue here in Atlanta, on Wednesday 13th. It's a little more expensive to take it there. $100, but if you want to take it before the times the school offers it, then that would be good. You will also know your test results right then and there instead of waiting for a week if you were to take it on pencil and paper. You only get 2 shots for the year to do well on the net and this will be my second try. Pray for me.

Has anyone attended the info. session they had yesterday over the phone? I found the q&a very helpful.

Right now, I'm hoping to be in a BSN program this fall. I'm a mother of 2. I have a 3yr.old daughter and a son on the way. My ultimate goal is to become a CRNA. I've been studying up on requirements and what it takes to be a CRNA 1 1/2 years now. I will find a CRNA to shadow to get the clinical side of it. That's why I'm working so hard now to keep my GPA up because I know it will make or break me in the long run.

I just took my teat today. I didn't do as well as you guys, but I scored a 78% which is passing. My school requires you to make at least a 74.4%. However, I only had 2 weeks to study for the exam, which was a lot of material. I didn't get the kaplan study guide, but did have the ATI. The science was the toughest for me, because I sisn't have much time to cover the material. I know I would have done a lot better if I had more time to study.
