I've been stalking this website for a while and now I finally get to contribute something!...
I just submitted my application for the Saddleback nursing program cohort beginning Fall 2019!
Who else is out there impatiently waiting until May (crossing my fingers it's earlier!) to hear about acceptance into the program?

Hello, and congratulations! I was wondering if this was your first time applying? I didn’t get accepted with 76 points so I was just wondering if there are other ways to get on the alternate list for the next time I apply! ???

I believe it was either my 3rd or 4th time applying.

Did you get on the alternate list? I just saw someone with 74 say they were one of the alternstes.

Did they tell you why they rejected you this time ? Like maybe they said the points were not enough or something to that effect ?
Its really weird they didnt put you on alternate list since 74 its in .

It just says they added up my points and I wasn’t accepted. I don’t know how the person got put on an alternate list with 74 points. I thought maybe it was because they applied more than once, but someone with 75 points has applied more and didn’t make the alternate list. So maybe the person with 74 points had more points than they thought? Like maybe the 3 free points we got or something like that. Because it seems that 78 points was accepted and 77 points was put on the alternate list. So it’s quite possible they found three more points for that person and they just don’t know.

Well they should'nt be making mistakes like that. For them to make that kind of a mistake and not prioritizing the people that really want to get in the school FIRST. We are all told its POINTS POINTS POINTS, yet our spots are being given to people with less than us. Last year, someone with 74 got in also, and I had 75. This is completely outrageous.
