Saddleback College Fall 2019

Published

I've been stalking this website for a while and now I finally get to contribute something!...

I just submitted my application for the Saddleback nursing program cohort beginning Fall 2019!

Who else is out there impatiently waiting until May (crossing my fingers it's earlier!) to hear about acceptance into the program?

I just applied for the 4th time. Fingers crossed I get in with 81 points. Stacy Anderson mentioned that last semester was such a high cut off point because they had to limit available clinical spots to 50 (they accepted 60 semesters prior). She also mentioned that they will be accepting 50 again this semester so if the number of applicants and scores are similar to last semester, then I'm betting the cut off point will be around 77 again.

@daniellee423, I would seriously consider retaking the TEAS, that's an extra 5 points. I retook it working with an amazing tutor and went from an 80 to an 89. This tutor has made a career out of helping students with the TEAS and she's been doing it for over 10 years. She is seriously the best. Let me know if you need her info.

Hello! I am getting ready to apply for the Spring 2020, I would love the tutors information.

Thanks!

@SheHulk

Hello, I was also planning on retaking the teas! Can I also get the tutors information? I’m planning on applying next semester as well.

@Coffeeloverxx @Missy_E the tutor's name is Emily Smith. I found her through Wyzant, a tutoring website. You can also get more info on her from her Facebook page. Just search "Emily Smith Teas Instructor" on FB. She is very busy and won't be able to answer questions all the time but her videos are really good and she narrows down content to what you only need to know for the TEAS. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

Sorry about the copy and paste posts, I wanted to make sure those asking for info on the tutor I used saw my post!

Anyone get anything in the mail yet? I've been checking the mail daily. The letter should be in the mail any day now.

I signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, so I get an email every morning telling me what's coming in the mail that day. I open the email immediately when I get it every morning. Last year, it looks like the letter came on April 19th, so you're right that it could be any day now!

I haven't seen anything in the mail yet either. I just signed up for informed delivery as well. I AM ON PINS AND NEEDLES!

Just called and spoke to someone at the Nursing dept. and was told that they're working on sending the letters out in about a week. Good to know so that I can stop obsessively checking my mail/e-mail until next week!

I just checked my informed mail! I AM GETTING A LETTER FROM SADDLEBACK TODAY OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! For reference, I live in Irvine and submitted my application February 7th.
