  1. Cal State Fullerton offers the opportunity to take classes toward a BSN during the summer, while you're still completing your ADN. Then, once you get your ADN, you'll complete the few remaining courses in the RN-BSN program, and be able to earn your BSN in about a year after getting your ADN. http://nursing.fullerton.edu/programs/jumpstart/ There are more schools that offer similar programs. This is from the Saddleback Nursing Program website: https://www.saddleback.edu/uploads/hs/rn/saddleback_adn_to_rn_transfer_agreements.pdf
  2. I’m in with 81 points, and I will be accepting!
  3. Congratulations, @skk97!! @futureDNP<3, I'm sure it's awful to have to wait even longer, but I think your chances are still pretty good of picking up a slot someone declines! But, wow! Clearly it has gotten even more competitive than last year. I will have to wait until next week form my letter and it's killing me a little bit. ?
  4. Doesn’t appear I have anything coming today. ? But, I moved a few weeks ago and had my mail forwarded so maybe that takes an extra day or something? Looking forward to seeing who got in!!!!
  5. Just called and spoke to someone at the Nursing dept. and was told that they're working on sending the letters out in about a week. Good to know so that I can stop obsessively checking my mail/e-mail until next week!
  6. I signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, so I get an email every morning telling me what's coming in the mail that day. I open the email immediately when I get it every morning. Last year, it looks like the letter came on April 19th, so you're right that it could be any day now!
  7. Yeah, I'm a little surprised by how slow this board has been. Maybe it's an indication that there were less applicants this time? Anyone have any idea how many applied? I asked when I submitted my application and they said they'd received about 35, but that was on February 5, and the lady said they usually receive a lot toward the end of the application period. Also, did any of you apply to any other nursing programs? If so, what's your top choice? I only applied to Saddleback, so my fingers are very much crossed!
  8. It’s out of 20. 5 for Pharmacology 3 points each for 5 other classes. https://www.saddleback.edu/uploads/hs/rn/multi_ciriteria_admission_criteria_may_2018.pdf
  9. I believe 81. I know that's pretty good, but this program is getting more and more competitive, so I'm not sure how confident I should be. What about you??
  10. Hello! Yes, Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA. Were you able to calculate your points?
  11. I've been stalking this website for a while and now I finally get to contribute something!... I just submitted my application for the Saddleback nursing program cohort beginning Fall 2019! Who else is out there impatiently waiting until May (crossing my fingers it's earlier!) to hear about acceptance into the program?
