Hello everyone !

I was wondering is anyone applying to CSU Stan State Nursing Program for the Fall of 2020? I started a chat room , but I don't know if anyone has come across it. However, I believe that will be applying with 97 points! ( if math 89 is not counted in my overall GPA since it is a non-transferable course. Or do they count it , let me know! )

Here are my stats:

Transfer GPA : 4.0

Healthcare experience- CNA

TEAS: 81.3%

Residency in San Joaquin

I don't know if I have a good chance, due to how competitive it is... but I am trying to stay positive during these stressful times !

I have volunteer experience at a hospital and have just completed a CNA program at my community college during the fall 2019 semester. I have been looking at the Sacramento State nursing program and have been lurking on the application threads for a while now (before I even began completing my prerequisites!) so I am really excited that I am now able to apply myself! I think I have a good chance at being accepted, and if not, then I hope I can make it on the wait list. I am also applying to Long Beach and Chico State, but will no doubt choose Sacramento State if I am able to get in. Good luck to everyone!

I just got my Sac State acceptance email! I attended the application workshop on Friday and submitted my application there so Heidi could look it over for me.

GPA: 40 points

TEAS: 22 points (92%)

Optional: 15 points (I'm not bilingual)

Total: 77

The last 3 semesters in a row (since they changed the points system) the last admitted had a 67, so I think you have a good chance!

Hi! I also just got my Sac State acceptance email and applied with 77 points. My stats are:

GPA: 40 points

TEAS: 26 points - 95.3%

Optional: 11 points

Total: 77 points

Just the university. They haven't started accepting for the nursing program yet ?

I haven’t gotten an email like that ? But there are a few to-do list items that just popped up for financial aid.

Today I received “admission offer“ email also stated that you are being admitted to major interest in nursing. I am confused whether I am accepted to nursing program or it’s just university acceptance email? What you guys think?

Hi! This is just a university acceptance. The deadline to submit an application to the nursing program hasn’t even hit yet so it wouldn’t make sense that they have released admissions already. According to my very good friend and fellow forum poster Ekat (also the one who started this forum!) they do tell you the stats of this application round soon after the application window has closed. They will tell you how many people have applied and what the 80th spot has in terms of points before verification and this could definitely be used to gauge where you are in terms of getting in. Hope this helped!
