Hello! Welcome, and Good Luck, everybody applying!

Hi Etak! Thank you for creating a new thread. I'm anxious to get this show on the road. I've applied to the university for Fall but haven't received a decision yet. My TEAS is scheduled for Jan 27th. I'm not looking forward to that. I'm also finishing up prereqs during the Spring semester at Sierra, so I'm hoping I won't need to retake the TEAS in Feb.

What classes are you finishing? I'm very anxious as well. I've finished all my prereqs but will be taking a couple gen ed classes and working.

Microbio and Public Speaking. Also Allied Health (1 unit) and Vernal Pools (0.5 unit) because my counselor told me I could get another AS with each of those. So I'll have 3 AS degrees once I finish Spring.

Also, am I reading correctly that you got a 92.7 on your TEAS and a 4.0 adjusted GPA and you're still #23 on the waitlist?! Sorry, I've been lurking that thread for a long time.

Good Luck! Who do you have for Micro? I just took it at Sierra as a hybrid and had ****** for the lecture portion and Le Grand for lab. It was a tough class but managable.

Yes, you read that right, 92.7 and 4.0 adjusted and applied with 67 points. My weakness was with the optional criteria of which I only had 4 points of being a local student.

I regrouped though and will be applying for Fall with 69-72 points so I am hoping for better luck next time. Unless I end up squeezing in this Spring.

Well your Fall numbers look promising! Fingers crossed for you.

I am taking it as an online hybrid, so the lecture is online and the lab is on campus with *****.

That's a bummer about your optional criteria being your downfall, because your other scores are awesome! I'm nervous about the TEAS, I've been out of school for a couple years and haven't been able to study as much as I'd like.

Thank you for starting the forum. I’m applying for Fall 2020. I’m super anxious waiting for them post the application. I already took my TEAS.

Any tips for the TEAS? I am taking it next week for the 1st time.

I used Momentrix and the ATI study guide. I also bought the practice tests A and B from the ATI website. Pocket prep app was useful too. I mostly focused on my weaker points. I was happy with my score of 93.3.
