Sacramento State (CSUS) Spring 2014 applications

So it looks as though we don't have a thread going as of yet for the Sac State Spring 2014 Nursing application period, so lets get one going.

My name is Sarah and I am a current Sac State student. This is my first semester at sac state as I just transferred over from Sierra College in Rocklin. I am currently in Micro, but all other pre and co reqs done. Looking at 87 points if I don't get the 3 additional for optional criteria that I submitted for. I just submitted my application today, so now the wait begins.

With 69 points you are on the bubble, with 72 you are more likely in. In most cases you would be in the top 80 since they have been averaging 60-70 as the total points for the last person accepted. That being said, the numbers have been going up each cohort and it is really hard to say where it will fall. For instance, 23 of the 80 accepted this fall were second bachelors students and that affected the outcome. Other times there is a larger cohort applying d/t the previous spring only allowing Sac State students. Hope this helps.

What date do you all find out whether you got in or not? I know _____ is almost done with the applications but I wasn't sure when you get the emails. I remember waiting and checking my email everyday even though I knew it wasn't time yet. Good luck to you all again and I hope you all get in!

In the e-mail that they sent when they received our applications, they said we would hear by early December. I was hoping to hear before Thanksgiving, though!

Hi everyone! I also applied to Sac State's nursing program for spring 2014! The waiting has been tough, but it seems like time has gone by quickly, thank goodness! I received an email yesterday saying we would get the accepted/declined email by Monday the 25th @ 5pm! Did anyone else receive that email?

Ahhh! I did not get that e-mail either, but I just looked in my junk box and it was there!

Check your junk and bulk mail too, @FTF4, it might be there! So glad you found it @klistamh, I got worried for a minute! Teri said to always check every part of your e-mail (inbox, junk, and bulk) because the admission decision e-mail may end up in junk mail or bulk mail. Good luck to all of you!!

I'm happy we're going to get the news before Thanksgiving, but still so nervous to receive an admissions decision. Hopefully all of us get in!
