Hi everyone,

My name is Daniel and I just wanted to create this thread so everyone applying to Sac State can share their scores and post any questions they may have.

Ill start!

Pre +Co requisite GPA: 3.92

TEAS Score: 88.0%

Optional Criteria: 6

Overall app score: 78

I am planning to retake the TEAS exam in order to, hopefully, get a higher score!

Does anyone know if Sac State nursing program allows you to become a CNA after a certain number of semesters are completed? I know some schools do this but I'm not sure if Sac was among them!

They say you can do that after your first year is completed at CSUS, but it would probably be a good idea to ask the nursing department just to make sure.

Hi Vintageswagger, BSN,

I recently got accepted into Sac State BSN Program and Samuel Merritt's ABSN Program as a Second Bachelors student. I heard that Sac State is a really good program, and it definitely has a lower tuition. Do you mind telling me more about the program - such as how you felt about it in terms of the way they prepared you for clinicals, and the NCLEX? As well as how the faculty were, etc. ?

Anyone taking BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR at Sac State? I read that I need to call in order to receive Hornet pricing which is $35, compared to normal price$75. Thought it would be fun to take the class with someone here. I am leaning toward June 10th.

I am a transfer student and I have a registration hold. Reason for the hold is:

Registration Hold - New Student Orientation attendance is mandatory prior to course registration. Visit our website at www.csus.edu/acad/orientation or call [phone] for further information.

On the checklist, it said i had to clear any registraion hold NOW. But how do i clear it when I already am registered for orientation on June 17th? Any transfer students also have this registration hold? thank you
