Rutgers Camden Accelerated BSN

I'm currently taking pre-reqs to get into nursing school. I have my BA in psychology and am looking to get into an Accelerated BSN program. I have my eyes on Rutgers Camden. I was wondering if anyone had any info on getting accepted to this school. Any currents students enrolled in the program? Did you take the "recommended" pre-requisites prior to admission (Human growth & development, nutrition, & genetics)? I was planning to apply for Fall of 2015, but now that they're making the additional pre-reqs mandatory for starting that semester, I'm thinking I'll go ahead and apply for Spring 2015 admission and cross my fingers. (I haven't taken the additional pre-reqs) My BA GPA was 3.76 and I have A's in my science pre-reqs (I still have two to take in the fall). Any advice? Should I just go ahead and apply for spring admission, or should I just take the rest of the pre-reqs and shoot for fall admission?

I've sent two emails to Rutgers as well as calling, none were returned. I feel like I'm in the dark a little here.

So the facebook page is open to the "public" that was the only way to do it so everyone could join.

I checked today and my "rutgers page" had a ton of tabs open. Check yours out.... I'm sure it's listed online? If not I'm sure within a few days things will start being posted. If nothing is posted by next week or so I may just email someone.

Hey everyone I just joined the Fb group as well! I also have checked my rutgers but nothing says about the orientation hopefully in a couple days or so... I talked to the person yesterday and they'r only going to have one orientation so Dec11 is pretty solid I might have to fly out there too!

hey everyone! It looks like I will be joining everyone in the spring! Congrats to everyone! I have a quick question about the enrollment pathway.. I had to submit my official transcript from my current university, but I was wondering if there was a final one we had to submit after that one? Please let me know! Thank you!! :) - Ashley

Hi Ashley,

If you are taking pre-req classes this semester, then you have to submit a final official transcript at the end of the semester so they can see your grades. I have to do the same thing!

I have to send my transcripts too. I am sending one as soon as my classes are done, and after my winter term (ew, I have to take intro to soc.) over winter break ha ha.

Did we get / will we get an email about orientation?

I still have not received info on orientation. I have not checked the enrollment pathway recently though so I'm not sure if any info is on there yet! I hope we hear from them to confirm everything soon.

Nope still nothing on pathway about orientation. There should be check mark on your pathway account next to final transcripts if are all clear

Yes check your email office of new student should sent you an information about the orientation on Dec 11th! but I talked to a counselor yesterday and if some of you can't make this one there is another one in January 13th either 8am/1.30pm so u should call ASAP to reschedule.

Are we talking about the web page to register for orientation? If so I didn't when I registered about a week ago.
