Rutgers Camden Accelerated BSN

I'm currently taking pre-reqs to get into nursing school. I have my BA in psychology and am looking to get into an Accelerated BSN program. I have my eyes on Rutgers Camden. I was wondering if anyone had any info on getting accepted to this school. Any currents students enrolled in the program? Did you take the "recommended" pre-requisites prior to admission (Human growth & development, nutrition, & genetics)? I was planning to apply for Fall of 2015, but now that they're making the additional pre-reqs mandatory for starting that semester, I'm thinking I'll go ahead and apply for Spring 2015 admission and cross my fingers. (I haven't taken the additional pre-reqs) My BA GPA was 3.76 and I have A's in my science pre-reqs (I still have two to take in the fall). Any advice? Should I just go ahead and apply for spring admission, or should I just take the rest of the pre-reqs and shoot for fall admission?

I've sent two emails to Rutgers as well as calling, none were returned. I feel like I'm in the dark a little here.

Hey! Is there any way to link your fb page to another "group" Rutgers fb page so we can all chat there and see each others real names?

Also, anybody know what the dress code is for orientation?

I have no Idea what the dress code is.... I am going to take a stab and maybe say business casual? Ill play around with the group I made to see if I can make it more accessible.

So I was playing around on the Rutgers Website and it looks like our schedules were already made for us. ( yes I was that bored today... hahah) go to https://my.rutgers.edu/portal sign in, then go to the tab "academics." Right under that is should say schedule "fall 2014" Pull down the box and change it to spring 2015, and it populates your spring semester! Let me know what you guys see etc. Hopefully this answers some more questions :)

hey have you guys taken biomedical ethics and genetics? seems like they don't put them in in our schedule

Took genetics already, but it seems like Biomedical ethics is an online class.

I am taking Nutrition in addition to the classes assigned. You will need to manually add the extra classes into your schedule. I did it through the portal and it was easy!

Looking forward to meeting everyone on thursday as well!
