Wow, seems like no one is applying here or maybe we just have a lot of readers. In any case i hope to apply for the accelerated nursing program for Fall 2015. originally, it was to be Spring 2016 because i haven't finished prereqs but I'm hoping to be done next spring (of 2015) and hoping they extend the deadline. Anyone else?!!
Hi, I found this page and was hoping someone could help me with a few things! I am trying to apply to this program as well, hoping to meet the June 1 deadline. I have a question regarding the BLS cerficiation. I completed the BLS part 1 online from the American Heart Associated website and received a certification. However, there is a part 2 and 3 that will provide you with a BLS card when completed in person. Is part 1 enough or do we need to receive the BLS card? Website says we need to send proof of the certification, no mention of the BLS card. What did you guys do for this?
Hey I was confused too when I took it. You do need part 2 and 3. When you go to take it, at the end there is a written exam and a practical. Part 1 that you took exempts you from the written exam so all you have to do is the practical ( just put all the skills you learned in motion on a dummy). Hope this helps.
Did nursingcas recieve or verify any of your transcripts? I know it takes a few weeks but could it take lesser than that? I sent mine a week and a half ago
nursingcas received the last of my transcripts on march 2nd, and my transcripts were verified on march 26. mine may have been a little longer than usual, since i had transcripts from several different schools. the waiting game is frustrating, but the deadline for rutgers isn't until june, so you should be okay even if it takes a little longer.
I had waited over 5 weeks to get verified before I eventually called NursingCAS to check if everything was all set with my application and they said that mine must have slipped past them somehow and that they would have everything verified ASAP, I got an email that my application was verified the next day.
Hi, Donutball. Thank you for the second link that shows the times of the subjects. Student is really pretty booked and it seems like there is a different schedule per week. And somehow, there are two groups of students (or two classes) during the semester that goes to one subject with one class going say from 8-10a.m. and the other class going from 10-12 noon. Thank you very much for posting the schedule. I appreciate it.
Yeah might be the part time absn class time. But usually you will always have all lectures in same classroom and you may or maybe not have your exams the same classroom too. Sometimes we used a computer lab classroom that was in the lower level for exams

It's not rolling admission, we won't be hearing back until the end of June
and I think we are supposed to receive acceptances in the mail, can anyone confirm that ?
